Saat ini banyak sekali orang melakukan investasi pada berbagai bidang. Salah satu bidang yang diminati adalah investasi di bidang kuliner. Kuliner adalah hasil olahan yang berupa masakan berupa lauk-pauk makanan ataupun minuman. Investasi adalah pengkaitan sumber dalam jangka panjang untuk menghasilkan laba di masa yang akan datang.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis investasi kelayakan usaha rumah makan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif berupa aspek keuangan yang menggunakan alat analisis seperti proyeksi laba rugi, payback period, net present value, profitability index, internal rate of return, dan break even point.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan aspek keuangan diperoleh hasil penelitian dengan asumsi, yang meliputi Payback Period selama 2 tahun 5 bulan 8 hari; NPV proyek ini sebesar Rp.220.663.881; Profitability Index (PI) 3,93; Internal Rate Of Return didapat hasil 73,70%; Break Even Point didapatkan hasil sebesar Rp.51.828.148. dan sebanyak 3.455 Unit. dengan asumsi harga ayam geprek Rp 15.000/Porsi. Dari hasil perhitungan kelayakan usaha ini dikatakan layak.
