    ABSTRAK
    Analisa performance heat exchanger E-201 dapat dilihat melalui nilai Uc, Ud, Rd
    dan nilai effisiensi pada heat exchanger E-201. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah
    untuk mengetahui nilai efisiensi heat exchanger E-201 dan mengetahui pengaruh
    dari laju alir dan suhu steam terhadap nilai LMTD, Uc, Ud, Rd dan pressure drop.
    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – Juli 2023 di PT. Sari Dumai
    Sejati, Riau. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan alat Heat Exchanger Tipe Shell and
    Tube yang ada di section 2 oleochemical plant. Adapun variabel berubah dari
    penelitian ini adalah flow feed : 15.873,28 lb/hr 18.739,29 lb/hr 16.534,67 lb/hr
    11.464,04 lb/hr dan 19.180,21 lb/hr dan suhu : 211,21 0F 242,1 0F 248,41 0F
    dengan variabel respon LMTD, ?P, Nilai coeffisien clean overall (Uc), Nilai
    coeffisien dirt overall (Ud), Nilai fouling factor (Rd), Efisiensi Nilai effisiensi
    terbaik terdapat pada laju alir 19180,21 lb/hr dengan nilai effisiensi sebesar 201%
    dan nilai effisiensi terendah terdapat pada laju alir 11464,04 lb/hr dengan nilai
    effisiensi sebesar 120 % . Besar kecilnya flow feed dapat mempengaruhi nilai
    effisiensi dari heat exchanger E-201. Flow feed yang digunakan di lapangan
    sebesar 16.000 lb/hr agar penggunaan alat heat exchanger E-201 lebih effisien
    ketika digunakan.

    ABSTRACT
    Analysis of the performance of the E-201 heat exchanger can be seen through the
    Uc, Ud, Rd values and the efficiency value of the E-201 heat exchanger. The
    purpose of this study was to determine the efficiency value of the E-201 heat
    exchanger and to determine the effect of the flow rate and steam temperature on
    the values of LMTD, Uc, Ud, Rd and pressure drop. This research was conducted
    in February - July 2023 at PT. Sari Dumai Sejati, Riau. In this study, a Shell and
    Tube Type Heat Exchanger was used in section 2 of the oleochemical plant. The
    variables that changed from this study were flow feed: 15,873.28 lb/hr 18,739.29
    lb/hr 16,534.67 lb/hr 11,464.04 lb/hr and 19,180.21 lb/hr and temperature:
    211.21 0F 242 , 1 0F 248.41 0F with the response variable LMTD, ?P, Clean
    overall coefficient value (Uc), Overall dirt coefficient value (Ud), Fouling factor
    value (Rd), The best efficiency value was found in the flow lane 19180.21 lb/hr
    with an efficiency value of 201% and the lowest efficiency value was at a flow rate
    of 11464.04 lb/hr with an efficiency value of 120%. The size of the flow feed can
    affect the efficiency value of the E-201 heat exchanger. The flow feed used in the
    field was 16,000 lb/hr so that the use of the E-201 heat exchanger was more
    efficient when used.
