    ABSTRAK
    Untreated Glycerine atau produk keluaran glycerine dari splitting memiliki
    tingkat konsentrasi glycerine yang masih rendah sekitar 35% dan masih banyak
    pengotor didalamnya seperti oil carry over yang masih cukup banyak. Perlu
    dilakukan pemurnian dan peningkatan konsentrasi pada glycerine agar
    konsentrasi glycerine meningkat dan pengotor didalamnya berkurang. Tujuan
    dari penilitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efisiensi penambahan bahan kimia
    Ca(OH)2 dan filter aid sehingga mendapatkan kualitas dari crude glycerine
    yaitu FA & E (Fatty Acid & Ester) dan pH menurut standar mutu plant yang
    ditetapkan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode analisa data di lapangan dan
    data hasil lab Pada penelitian ini akan menentukan berapa efisiensi pemakaian
    bahan kimia Ca(OH)2 dan filter aid untuk mendapatkan quality sesuai standart.
    Penelitian ini menggunakan data oil carry over sebagai variable berubah dalam
    menentukan kualitas dari glycerine dengan variasi oil carry over sebanyak (20,
    40, 50, 70 dan 75 liter). Penambahan Ca(OH)2 dan filter aid berturut turut
    sebanyak 100 kg dan 130 kg. Didapatkan hasil dari penelitian ini berupa
    efesiensi pada saat penetralan pH dan pengurangan kadar FA & E. Hasil
    efisensi yang terbaik didapatkan pada kondisi oil carry over sebanyak 50 liter
    dengan efesiensi penetralan pada pH sebesar 55,21% dan efisiensi penurunan
    kadar FA & E sebesar 39,83%


    ABSTRACT
    Untreated Glycerine or glycerine output products from splitting has a
    low glycerine concentration level of around 35% and there are still many
    impurities in it such as oil carry over which is still quite a lot. It is necessary
    to purify and increase the concentration of glycerine so that the concentration
    of glycerineincreases and the impurities in it decrease. The purpose of this
    study is to determine the efficiency of adding Ca (OH) 2 chemicals and filter
    aid so as to obtain the quality of crude glycerine, namely FA &; E (Fatty Acid
    &; Ester) and pH according to established plant quality standards.The
    method used was the method of analyzing data in the field and lab data In
    this study would determine how efficient the use of Ca (OH) 2 chemicals and
    filter aid to get quality according to standards. This study used oil carry over
    data as a variable change in determining the quality of glycerine with
    variations in oil carry over as much as (20, 40, 50, 70 and 75 liters). The
    addition of Ca(OH)2 and filter aid respectively as much as 100 kg and 130
    kg. The results of this study were obtained in the form of efficiency when
    neutralizing pH and reducing FA &; E levels. The best efficiency result was
    obtained in oil carry over conditions of 50 liters with neutralization efficiency
    at pH of 55.21% and efficiency of reducing FA & E levels by 39.83%
