PERHITUNGAN PORT CHARGES PADA MT GLOBAL THEMIS V. 83 OLEH PT KARANA LINE --

Abstrak
Port charges adalah biaya yang harus dibayarakan kepada otoritas
pelabuhan sebagai kompensasi atas layanan yang diberikan selama proses
bongkar muat kapal di pelabuhan. Tujuan perhitungan ini adalah untuk
memahami elemen-elemen yang mempengaruhi perhitungan port charges
dan memastikan keadilan dan keakuratan perhitungan tersebut. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan dalam perhitungan ini meliputi pengumpulan
data dari berbagai sumber, termasuk dokumen perusahaan dan informasi
terkait peraturan dan kebijakan terbaru dalam industri pelayaran. Data yang
diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen
utama yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam perhitungan port charges. Hasil
tersebut menunjukan bahwa perhitungan port charges pada MT Global
Themis didasarkan pada beberapa faktor, antara lain ukuran kapal, jenis
muatan, waktu tinggal di pelabuhan, dan layanan tambahan yang diminta
oleh PT Karana Line. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti adanya perbedaan
dalam tarif port charges antara pelabuhan yang berbeda, yang berkaitan
dengan fasilitas yang disediakan dan tingkat kepadatan lalu lintas kapal di
masing-masing kepelabuhan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar PT Karana
Line menjalin kerjasama yang erat dengan otoritas pelabuhan untuk
memastikan pemahaman yang jelas tentang peraturan dan kebijakan
terbaru.

Abstract
Port charges are fees payable to the port authority as compensation for
service provided during the loading and unloading of ships at the port. The
purpose of this calculation is to understand the elements thet affect the
calculation of port charges and ensure the fairness and accuracy of the
calculation. The research methods used in this calculation include data
collection from various sources, including company documents and
information related to the latest regulations and policies in the shipping
industry. The data obtained was then analyzed to identify the main
elements that should be considered in the calculation of port charges. The
results show that the calculation of port charges on MT Global Themis is
based on several factors, including ship size, cargo type, port stay time,
and additional service requested by PT Karana Line. The study also
highlighted the differences in port charges between different ports, which
are related to the facilities provided and the level of traffic density at each
port. Therefore, it is recommended that PT Karana Line works closely with
port authorities to ensure a clear understanding of the latest regulations
and policies.
