SISTEM INFORMASI PEMESANAN KAMAR BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA BHAKTI GUEST HOUSE SAMARINDA --

ABSTRAK
Tingginya kebutuhan manusia akan teknologi saat ini banyak dimanfaatkan oleh
beberapa instansi/perusahaan untuk memajukan instansinya/perusahaannya dengan
memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi, seperti mengganti sistem manual lama dengan
sistem baru yang terkomputerisasi sehingga pengelolaan data menjadi lebih mudah.
Guest House adalah salah satu jenis fasilitas penginapan, milik perseorangan
maupun industri, yang dikhususkan bagi pelanggan yang ingin menginap dan
bergerak di bidang jasa. Selama ini guest house dituntut untuk mengutamakan
kualitas pelayanan kepada para pelanggannya, demikian juga dengan Bhakti Guest
House Samarinda. Saat ini sistem pemesanan yang berjalan di Bhakti guest house
sudah menggunakan komputer namun belum terkomputerisasi secara maksimal.
Hal ini dikarenakan penginputan data masih menggunakan Microsoft Excel.
Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk merancang dan membangun sistem
informasi pemesanan kamar berbasis website pada Bhakti Guest House Samarinda
untuk memudahkan pelanggan melakukan pemesanan kamar. Dalam penelitian ini
metode yang digunakan yaitu Metode Waterfall, sering disebut Siklus Hidup Klasik
(Classic Life Cycle). Penelitian ini menghasilkan Sistem Informasi Pemesanan
Kamar Berbasis Website pada Bhakti Guest House, dengan menggunakan bahasa
pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Processor), database menggunakan MySQL, dan
pengujian sistem menggunakan Black Box Testing. Dari aplikasi yang dibangun
tersebut dapat mempercepat penyampaian informasi kepada konsumen mengenai
Bhakti Guest House, fasilitas kamar, pemesanan kamar, dan letak lokasi Bhakti
Guest House, serta dapat mempermudah pekerjaan pegawai Bhakti Guest House
dalam pengelolaan data.

ABSTRACT
The high human need for technology is currently widely used by several
agencies/companies to advance their agencies/companies by taking advantage of
technological advances, such as replacing old manual systems with new
computerized systems so that data management becomes easier. A guest House is
a type of lodging facility owned by individuals or industries specifically for
customers who want to stay overnight and are engaged in services. So far, guest
houses are required to prioritize service quality to their customers, as well as Bhakti
Guest House Samarinda. Currently the reservation system that runs at Bhakti guest
house already uses a computer, but it is not fully computerized. This is because the
data input is still using Microsoft Excel. The research objective was to design and
build a website-based room booking information system at Bhakti Guest House
Samarinda to make it easier for customers to make room reservations. In this study
the method used is the Waterfall Method or often referred to as the Classic Life
Cycle. This research produces a Room Booking Information System Based on the
Bhakti Guest House Website, using the PHP programming language (Hypertext
Processor), database using MySQL, and system testing using Black Box Testing.
From the application that was built, it can speed up the delivery of information to
consumers about Bhakti Guest House, room facilities, room reservations, and the
location of the Bhakti Guest House location, and can make the work of Bhakti Guest
House employees easier in data management.
