ABSTRAK
Perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi sekarang ini sangat pesat disemua
kalangan masyarakat hingga mengubah cara pandang mereka terhadap media
penyedia informasi. Website adalah salah satu sarana media internet yang berfungsi
menampilkan, memperkenalkan, dan media pencari informasi tertentu. Teknik
Elektro disebut juga Teknik Listrik / Elektronika. Jurusan atau program studi ini
adalah bagian dari bidang teknik (engineering) yang mempelajari, mendesain, dan
mengaplikasikan komponen dan sistem yang memanfaatkan listrik (electricity),
elektronika (electronics) dan electromagnetism. Jurusan Teknik Elektro Politeknik
Negeri Samarinda dibentuk pada tahun 1987 dalam jenjang Pendidikan Program
Diploma II (D2) dengan Program Studi Teknik Listrik. Jurusan Elektro Politeknik
Negeri Samarinda membutuhkan interaksi agar jurusan elektro dapat dikenal
banyak oleh masyarakat, yaitu dengan cara memberikan informasi secara tepat,
benar, dan detail mengenai jurusan tersebut. Untuk merancang web profile jurusan
elektro, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode pendekatan berbasis objek
penelitian dimana cara pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melakukan
Observasi, Survey, dan Dokumentasi. Profile web jurusan elektro akan
menggunakan bahasa pemprograman HTML, CSS, PHP dan database dengan
menggunakan bahasa MySQL. Dengan adanya web ini diharapkan dapat
memberikan informasi tentang Jurusan Elektro Politeknik Negeri Samarinda.

ABSTRACT
The development of the world of technology and information today is very rapid in
all circles of society to change their perspective on the media providing information.
Website is one of the internet media facilities that functions to display, introduce,
and search for certain information. Electrical Engineering is also known as
Electrical/Electronic Engineering. This department or study program is part of the
engineering field that studies, designs, and applies components and systems that
utilize electricity (electricity), electronics (electronics) and electromagnetism. The
Department of Electrical Engineering at Samarinda State Polytechnic was formed
in 1987 in the Diploma II (D2) Educational Program with the Electrical Engineering
Study Program. The Department of Electrical Engineering at Samarinda State
Polytechnic requires interaction so that the electrical department can be widely
known by the public, namely by providing precise, correct, and detailed information
about the department. To design a web profile for the electrical department, the
author uses several methods of research object-based approach where the data
collection method used is to conduct observations, surveys, and documentation. The
web profile for the electrical department will use the HTML, CSS, PHP and
database programming languages using the MySQL language. With this website, it
is hoped that it can provide information about the Department of Electrical
Engineering, Samarinda State Polytechnic.
