    ABSTRACT
    Andi Agun Sanjaya, 2023 Analysis of the Causes of Blow By Diengine C15
    Caterpillar on Unit Drilling', under the guidance of Faisyal Umar ST.,MT and
    Abdul Halim,ST.,MT Final Report, Study Program D-III Heavy Equipment
    Engineering, Department of Engineering Engineering, Samarinda State
    Polytechnic.
    The research was conducted at the Bay 1 Workshop of PT Trakindo
    Utama Samarinda. The engine used for research data collection is the C15
    Industrial Engine. The research was conducted in February – July 2023.
    In analyzing the Engine components, data from visual inspection results,
    and measurements on Engine components are compared with the manual,
    including: 1. GRPTS with media number SEBF8091-10 2. Specification manual
    for components with media number SENR7359-00 3. Textbook Applied Failure
    Analysis, (2014) Cileungsi Training Center PT Trakindo Utama, Jakarta.
    Analysis of the Causes of Engine Damage is carried out to find out
    whether there is damage that has occurred and see whether the components meet
    specifications or not. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out
    and described in this report, the authors can draw the following conclusions. 1.
    The piston components are not in accordance with the specifications after being
    checked so they cannot be used 2. The liner components are not in accordance
    with the specifications (wear) and the crosspattern line after being measured turns
    out to be unusable because it does not comply with the specifications in the SIS.
