ANALISA PENYEBAB KERUSAKAN KOMPONEN UNDERCARRIAGE PADA UNIT BULLDOZER D6R2 XL --Ed. 1

ABSTRAK
Bulldozer adalah alat berat yang berfungsi untuk dozing and ripping material
seperti tanah, Batubara, bebatuan dan lain - lain, pada unit Bulldozer ini terdapat
salah satu komponen penting yang sangat penting untuk menggerakan unit tersebut
dan memiliki biaya yang tinggi komponen tersebut adalah Undercarriage.
Undercarriage adalah komponen bawah dari alat berat tipe track rantai dozer dan
excavator yang berfungsi sebagai pembawa dan pendukung unit alat berat.
Undercarriage disebut juga sebagai kerangka bawah yang merupakan bagian dari
sebuah crawler tractor. fungsi dari Undercarriage Untuk menopang dan meneruskan
beban unit ke tanah, Bersama-sama dengan sistem steering dan rem mengarahkan
unit untuk bergerak maju, mundur, ke kanan, dan ke kiri.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi kelapangan dengan melakukan
pengamatan secara langsung dengan mencari penyebab terjadinya kerusakan dan
cara mengatasi kerusakan terhadap komponen Undercarriage serta melakukan
metode tanya jawab sehingga ditemukan suatu permasalahan yang terjadi pada
Undercarriage. Penyebab terjadinya kerusakan pada komponen Undercarriage
disebabkan oleh adanya pemaksaan pada pengerjaan yang telah ditargetkan tanpa
memperdulikan komponen yang mulai kritis sehingga komponen Undercarriage
mengalami kehausan.
Komponen Sprocket segment mengalami kerusakan / kehausan dan harus
diganti dengan yang baru, jika dibiarkan akan menimbulkan kerusakan pada
komponen lainnya. Kerusakan pada Sprocket segment membuat track selalu kendor
dan mengakibatkan track bisa lepas dari komponen Undercarriage.
Untuk mencegah terjadinya kerusakan maka harus dilakukan pemeriksaan
harian. Perawatan berkala pada Undercarriage yaitu memeriksa kondisi komponen
Undercarriage. Dengan menggunakan metode Failure mode and effect analysis yang
merupakan bagian dari Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).

a dozer is a heavy equipment that functions for dozing and ripping materials
such as soil, coal, rocks and others, in this Bulldozer unit there is one important
component that is very important to drive the unit and has a high cost, this component
is the Undercarriage. The undercarriage is the lower component of the bulldozer and
excavator chain track type heavy equipment that functions as a carrier and support
for heavy equipment units. The undercarriage is also known as the undercarriage
which is part of a crawler tractor. function of the Undercarriage To support and
bring the load unit to the ground, Together with the steering system and brake
steering unit to move forward, backward, right and left.
This study uses the field observation method by making direct observations
by looking for the causes of damage and how to deal with damage to the
Undercarriage components and conducting a question and answer method so that a
problem occurs in the Undercarriage is found. The cause of damage to the
undercarriage components is caused by the coercion of the work that has been
planned regardless of the components that are starting to be critical so that the
undercarriage components experience thirst.
The Sprocket Segment component is damaged/weary and must be replaced
with a new one, if left unchecked it will cause damage to other components. Damage
to the Sprocket Segment makes the track always slack and causes the track to
separate from the Undercarriage components.
To prevent damage, daily checks must be carried out. Periodic maintenance
on the Undercarriage is checking the condition of the Undercarriage components.
By using the Failure mode and effect analysis method which is part of the Reliability
Centered Maintenance (RCM).
