MODIFIKASI MESIN PEMOTONG TEMPE OTOMATIS UNTUK OLAHAN KERIPIK TEMPE” --

ABSTRAK
Keripik Tempe adalah cemilan yang sangat popular. Keripik tempe adalah irisan
tipis yang digoreng dengan minyak goreng. Untuk menciptakan rasa asin dan
renyah, kedelai dicampur dengan sagu yang dibumbui dengan bumbu tertentu.
Kelompok usaha keripik tempe ini berlokasi diMugirjo gg manunggal 2, kecamatan
sungai pinang, samarinda, provinsi Kalimantan timur. Kelompok usaha keripik
tempe ini dapat menghasilkan 2 sampai 3 kg dalam 1 hari detik. Sedangkan untuk
proses pemotongan bahan baku tempe ini menjadi irisan tempe masih mengunkan
metode manual dengan tangan. Oleh karna itu, diperlukan alat pengiris tempe
untuk mempercepat waktu produksi pengirisan tempe dan memnuhi permintaan
pasar. Alat pengiris keripik tempe ini dibuat dengan mengunakan sistem 1 mata
pisau. Mesin pengiris tempe ini dapat mengiris 1 kg/48,82 detik dengan diameter
50mm dan ketebalan 1,2mm.

ABSTRACT
Tempe chips are a very popular snack. Tempe chips are thin slices fried in vegetable
oil. To create a salty and crunchy taste, soybeans are mixed with sago which is
seasoned with certain spices. The Tempe Chips business group is located in Bukit
Ketok Village, Bangka Regency, Belinyu District, Bangka Belitung Islands
Province. It can produce up to 2 to 3 kilograms in one day. Meanwhile, the process
of cutting tempeh raw materials into tempeh slices still uses the traditional knife
method. Therefore, a tempeh slicer is needed to speed up the production time of
tempeh slices and meet market demand. This tempe chip slicer is made using a 4-
bit system. The method of realizing this article adopts VDI (Verein Deutsche
Ingenieuer/German Institute of Engineers) 2222. This tempe chip slicing machine
can slice 5kg/jam tempe chips with.a. diameter. of. 50mm. and.a. thickness of.1-
2mm.
