RANCANG BANGUN MESIN PENGOLAHAN DURIAN UNTUK MEMISAHKAN DAGING DAN BIJINYA --

ABSTRAK
Dalam pengembangan dan pembuatan mesin untuk memisahkan biji dari buah
durian, penulis melakukan hal tersebut dengan dilatarbelakangi permasalahan
pemisahan biji durian. Proses pemisahan isi serta biji buah durian masih memakai
cara konvensional, yaitu dengan memakai keranjang berisi pelubang sambil ditekan
menggunakan tangan. Cara ini bisa menyebabkan cedera di tangan. membutuhkan
waktu yang usang serta pekerja lebih cepat lelah. Mesin pemisah daging durian
dengan biji ini didesain buat mempermudah pengambilan daging durian tanpa
memakai cara tradisional, pembuatan mesin pemisah daging dan biji durian ini
melalui beberapa tahapan, dengan memulai observasi proses memisahkan daging
dan biji durian, setelah itu melakukan perencanaan dan perhitungan yang akan
dibutuhkan serta elemen-elemen mesin yang digunakan, kemudian dilanjutkan
dengan pembuatan mesin pemisah daging dan biji durian. Hasil perancangan dan
perhitungan alat, menggunakan poros S30C, diameter 25 mm, sabuk tipe-v A-27
dengan jarak sumbu poros 250 mm, bantalan dengan nomor P205, jenis terbuka,
dengan beban ekuivalen 10,51kg, faktor kecepatan 0,28 serta faktor umur 43,218
dan umur nominal 1004/jam. Las yang digunakan yaitu SMAW pada rangka yang
mampu menahan gaya 5.342 kg. sehingga diperoleh kapasitas efektif alat yang
dihasilkan yaitu 41.528 kg/jam.

ABSTACT
In the development and manufacture of machines to separate seeds from durian
fruit, the author did this with the background of the problem of separating durian
seeds. The process of separating the contents and seeds of the durian fruit still uses
the conventional method, namely by using a basket containing a hole while pressing
it by hand. This method can cause injury to the hand. requires a long time and
workers get tired more quickly. This durian meat and seed separator machine is
designed to make it easier to take durian meat without using traditional methods,
the manufacture of this durian meat and seed separator machine goes through
several stages, by starting with observing the process of separating durian flesh
and seeds, after that doing the planning and calculations that will be needed and
the machine elements used, then proceed with the manufacture of a meat and durian
seed separator machine. The results of the design and calculation of the tool, using
the S30C shaft, diameter 25 mm, v-type belt A-27 with a shaft axis distance of 250
mm, bearing number P205, open type, with an equivalent load of 10.51kg, speed
factor 0.28 and factor age 43,218 and nominal age 1004/hour. The welding used is
SMAW on a frame that is able to withstand a force of 5,342 kg. so that the effective
capacity of the resulting tool is 41,528 kg/hour.
