ABSTRAK
Dinas Sosial dan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD)
Balikpapan adalah satu bangunan yang terdiri dari dua lantai yang dimana
lantai dasar merupakan kantor BPBD dan lantai satu kantor Dinas Sosial.
Fasad pada bangunan ini memiliki kerusakan yang cukup parah, selain fasad
pada interior bangunan juga memiliki kendala sempitnya ruangan kantor
tidak tertatanya area kantor seperti meja dan kursi, selain itu banyaknya
dokumen-dokumen dan arsip yang menumpuk, banyaknya kabel-kabel yang
berada di luar dinding. Dengan adanya beberapa permasalahan diatas maka
diperlukannya sebuah redesain kantor dinas soial dan BPBD yang berfungsi
memperindah fasad dengan gaya tropis dan mendesain interior kantor agar
tertata dengan baik.

ABSTRACT
Student Regional Disaster Management (BPBD) Balikpapan is a building
consisting of two floors where the ground floor is the BPBD office and the first
floor is the Social Service office. The facade of this building has severe damage, in
addition to the facade on the interior of the building, it also has problems with the
narrowness of the office space, unorganized office areas such as desks and chairs,
in addition to the large number of documents and archives piling up, the number of
cables outside the walls. With some of the problems above, it is necessary to
redesign the social service office and BPBD which functions to beautify the facade
in a tropical style and design the interior of the office so that it is well organized.
