RANCANG BANGUN MESIN COCOPIET DAN COCOFIBERDENGAN KAPASITAS 15 KG/JAM --

ABSTRAK
Mesin pengurai sabut kelapa adalah suatu alat dibidang industri maupun produksi
yang berperan penting dalam proses penguraian sabut kelapa menjadi serat sabut
kelapa dan serbuk sabut kelapa, sehingga serat sabut atau cocofiber kelapa dapat
digunakan sebagai beberapa jenis karya yang bermanfaat seperti jok sepeda
motor, saburet, bantal dan lain lain, serbuk atau cocopeat sabut kelapa dapat
digunakan sebagai pupuk pada tanaman. Khusus pada mesin pengurai sabut
kelapaini yaitu digunakan untuk mengurai antara kulit luar kelapa dengan serat
sabut kelapa. Untuk proses pembuatan mesin pengurai sabut kelapa ini
menggunakan peralatan dan bahan-bahan yang telah dipilih sesuai dengan
karakter mesin yang akan dibuat, seperti bahan pada rangka menggunakan baja
siku, untuk kontruksi rangka menggunakan baja UNP. untuk mata pisau
menggunakan baja karbon, untuk penutup mata pisau menggunakan plat besi,
untuk poros menggunkan baja AS S45C, untuk penggerak mesin menggunakan
motor bensin yang dihubungkan dengan pulley dan sabuk v. Alat-alat yang
digunakan pada proses pembuatan mesin ini yaitu berupa mesin las listrik, gerinda
potong, mesin bubut, jangka sorong beserta alat keselamatan kerja yang lain. Ada
tiga prosedur pembuatan dalam metode ini yaitu : pemotongan, penyambungan
dan perakitan. Tahap terakhir setelah melakukan prosedur pembuatan adalah hasil
dari pembuatan yaitu mesin pengurai sabut kelapa yang siap dilakukan pengujian
dan membahas mesin dapat berjalan dengan baik atau tidak. Hasil dari penelitian
tersebut. Mengetahui bahwa mesin cocopeat dan cocofiber yang didesain dapat
memisahkan kulit kelapa dari serabutnya sekitar 90%, dan 10% dari serabutnya.

ABSTRACT
The coconut coir decomposing machine is a tool in industry and production that
plays an important role in the process of decomposing coconut coir into coco fiber
and coconut coir powder, so that coir fiber or coconut cocofiber can be used as
several types of useful works such as motorcycle seats, saburet, pillows. and
others, coconut coir powder or cocopeat can be used as fertilizer on plants.
Especially in this coconut coir decomposing machine, which is used to parse the
outer shell of the coconut with the coco fiber. For the process of making this
coconut coir decomposing machine using equipment and materials that have been
selected according to the character of the machine to be made, such as materials
on the frame using angled steel, for frame construction using UNP steel. for the
blade using carbon steel, for the blade cover using an iron plate, for the axle using
AS S45C steel, for driving the engine using a gasoline motor connected to a
pulley and v belt. The tools used in the process of making this machine are in the
form of electric welding machines, cutting grinders, lathes, calipers along with
other work safety tools. There are three manufacturing procedures in this method,
namely: cutting, joining and assembling. The last stage after carrying out the
manufacturing procedure is the result of the manufacture, namely the coconut coir
decomposing machine which is ready to be tested and discusses the machine can
run well or not. The results of the study. Knowing that the cocopeat and cocofiber
machines that are designed can separate the coconut husk from the fiber about
90%, and 10% from the fiber.
