ABSTRAK

Desain meja selalu mengalami perkembangan, baik dari segi bentuk ataupun penambahan fungsi produk itu. Tetapi seiring dengan perkembangan tersebut seringkali desain meja cenderung lebih mengutamakan desain bentuk yang simple dan minimalis sebagai tuntutan trend, sehingga meja yang tersebut terabaikan. Dalam hal ini, fokus perancangan produk adalah desain sarana meja kopi berbentuk bundar dengan gaya vintage Fungsi-fungsi dari perancang tersebut adalah meja ini selain berfungsi sebagai meja kopi dan bisa juga digunakan untuk meja pengoperasian laptop . Dan dari masalah tersebut maka perlu ada perancangan desain yang bisa dikatakan ergonomis, aman, nyaman dan mengurangi kelelahan melalui perancangan fasilitas kerja baru. Tujuan awal dibuatnya produk ini adalah sebagai wadah / tempat meja kopi. Setelah itu dibuatlah metode perancangan desain meja kopi ini yang sudah dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data, analisis data, konsep desain, alternatif desain, pengembangan desain dari alternatif desain terpilih, serta desain akhir. Sehingga dihasilkan saranan meja kopi berbentuk bundar dengan gaya vintage dari bahan kayu jati untuk meja kopi dengan menggunakan gaya desain vintage. Kesimpulan dari hasil perancangan desain saranan meja kopi berbentuk bundar dengan gaya vintage ialah merancang sebuah meja kopi untuk pelaku usaha kopi dan merancang produk sesuai analisis dan kebutuhan yang sudah ada.

ABSTRACT


The design of the table is always developing, both in terms of form or adding to the function of the product. But along with these developments, table designs often tend to prioritize simple and minimalist shape designs as trend demands, so that the table is neglected. In this case, the focus of product design is the design of a round coffee table with a vintage style. And from these problems, it is necessary to design a design that can be said to be ergonomic, safe, comfortable and reduce fatigue through the design of new work facilities. The initial purpose of making this product was as a container / place for a coffee table. After that, a design method for this coffee table design was made which had been done by collecting data, data analysis, design concepts, design alternatives, design development from selected alternative designs, and final designs. So that a round coffee table with a vintage style is produced from teak wood for a coffee table using a vintage design style. The conclusion from the results of designing a round coffee table facility with a vintage style is to design a coffee table for coffee businesses and design products according to existing analysis and needs.
