REKONDISI LIFT HYDRAULIC CYLINDER PADA UNIT WHEEL LOADER 950 CATERPILLAR --

Hydraulic Pada Wheel Loader 950 Caterpillar” dibawah bimbingan bapak
Dr. Eng. Hidayat Marlang, S.T., M.T. dan bapak Ir. Mangkona, M.T
Program Studi Teknik Alat Berat, Jurusan Teknik Mesin, Politeknik Negeri
Samarinda.
Cylinder atau Silinder Hidrolik merupakan sebuah unit atau
komponen penggerak atau Aktuator pada sistem hidrolik alat berat yang
memiliki peranan sebagai pengubah tenaga fluida untuk diubah menjadi
tenaga mekanik atau gerak.
Lift Cylinder pada Wheel loader yaitu dengan cara merubah energi
mekanik dari putaran engine yang disalurkan ke pompa menjadi energi
tekanan fluida (oil flow) kemudian merubahnya kembali menjadi energi
mekanik pada silinder hidrolik.
Hidrolik blade Lift Cylinder hydraulic berfungsi untuk menaikkan
dan menurunkan blade di medan yang tidak rata.Jika sistem hidrolik Lift
Cylinder hydraulic mengalami kerusakan akan mengurangi produktifitas
kerja unit alat berat.
Dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir ini,yaitu Rekondisi Lift Cylinder
Hydraulic pada Wheel Loader 950 Caterpillar bertujuan untuk
mengembalikan kondisi komponen Lift Cylinder dan mengecek spesifikasi
nya apakah masih layak digunakan kembali atau tidak. Hasil pengukuran
dari rekondisi Lift Cylinder yaitu untuk diameter rod,dan diameter housing
dalam masih dalam spesifikasi dan sudah dilakukan pengujian
kesimpulannya yaitu Lift Cylinder masih layak untuk digunakan kembali.

Dr. Eng. Hidayat Marlang, S.T., M.T. and Mr. Ir. Mangkona, M.T. Heavy
Equipment Engineering Study Program, Department of Mechanical
Engineering, Samarinda State Polytechnic.
Cylinder or Hydraulic Cylinder is a unit or drive component or actuator
in the hydraulic system of heavy equipment that has a role as a fluid power
converter to convert it into mechanical power or motion.
Lift Cylinder on the Wheel loader is by changing the mechanical
energy from the engine rotation which is channeled to the pump into fluid
pressure energy (oil flow) and then converting it back into mechanical
energy in the hydraulic cylinder.
Hydraulic blade Lift Cylinder hydraulic works to raise and lower the
blade on uneven terrain. If the hydraulic system of the Lift Cylinder
hydraulic is damaged, it will reduce the productivity of the heavy equipment
work unit.
In this final project, the Reconditioning of the Hydraulic Lift Cylinder
on the Caterpillar 950 Wheel Loader aims to restore the condition of the
Lift Cylinder components and check their specifications whether they are
still suitable for reuse or not. The measurement results from the
reconditioning of the Lift Cylinder, namely the diameter of the rod, and the
diameter of the inner housing are still within specifications and the
conclusion has been tested that the Lift Cylinder is still feasible to be
reused.
