PERBAIKAN HYDRAULIC CYLINDER STABILIZER PADA UNIT BACKHOE LOADER 416F CATERPILLAR --

ABSTRAK
Backhoe Loader Type 416F merupakan gabungan dari dua alat berat yang
berbeda fungsinya. Bagian depan di lengkapi dengan Loader yang berfungsi untuk
mengangkat material untuk di pindahkan ke tempat lain atau di masukan ke dalam
Dump Truck dan pada bagian belakang terdapat Backhoe yang bekerja sebagai
pencangkul dengan arah belakang.
Jadi pada proses repair kali ini kami akan mencoba untuk memperbaiki
kebocoran yang terjadi khususnya pada Cylinder Stabilizer yang terdapat pada unit
Backhoe Loader Type 416F Caterpillar. Dimana pada bagian Cylinder Stabilizer
tersebut terdapat scratch dan pada saat silinder hidrolik tersebut mendapatkan beban
yang berlebih, oli yang berada pada cylinder tersebut keluar yang mengakibatkan daya
dan tekanan pada cylinder hidrolik melemah.
Dan cara perbaikan yang akan kami lakukan ialah: (i) membuka Cylinder
Stabilizer pada unit Backhoe Loader 416F Caterpillar, (ii) melakukan pengecekan
pada setiap komponen, (iii) mengganti part yang rusak dan merechrome ulang pada
bagian yang mengalami scratch pada bagian Cylinder Stabilizer tersebut
Dari Jurusan Teknik Mesin Program Studi Teknik Alat Berat terdapat Backhoe
Loader Type 416F Caterpillar dengan kondisi terjadi kebocoran pada Cylinder
Stabilizer tersebut.
Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk melakukan perbaikan pada sistem
Cylinder Stabilizer pada unit Backhoe Loader Type 416F Caterpillar di Workshop
Teknik Mesin Program Studi Teknik Alat Berat Politeknik Negeri Samarinda dan di
angkat menjadi Tugas Akhir dengan judul “PERBAIKAN HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
STABILIZER PADA UNIT BACKHOE LOADER 416F CATERPILLAR”.

ABSTRACT
Backhoe Loader Type 416F is a combination of two heavy equipment with
different functions. The front is equipped with a loader that functions to lift material to
be moved to another place or input into a dump truck and on the back there is a backhoe
that works as a hoe with a rear direction.
So in the repair process this time we will try to repair the leaks that occur,
especially in the Cylinder Stabilizer contained in the Caterpillar Type 416F Backhoe
Loader unit. Where on the Cylinder Stabilizer there is a scratch and when the hydraulic
cylinder gets overloaded, the oil in the cylinder comes out which causes the power and
pressure in the hydraulic cylinder to weaken.
And the repairs that we will do are: (i) opening the Cylinder Stabilizer on the
Caterpillar 416F Backhoe Loader unit, (ii) checking each component, (iii) replacing
the damaged part and rechroming the scratched part on the Cylinder Stabilizer.
The From the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Heavy Equipment
Engineering Study Program, there is a Caterpillar Type 416F Backhoe Loader with a
leak in the Cylinder Stabilizer.
Therefore, the author is interested in making improvements to the Cylinder
Stabilizer system on the Caterpillar Type 416F Backhoe Loader unit at the Mechanical
Engineering Workshop, Samarinda State Polytechnic Heavy Equipment Engineering
Study Program and was appointed as a Final Project with the title "HYDRAULIC
CYLINDER STABILIZER REPAIR ON THE CATERPILLAR 416F BACKHOE
