Oil pump berfungsi mensirkulasikan pelumas menuju bagian engine yang membutuhkan pelumasan. Apabila oil pump mengalami kerusakan, maka supply pelumas ke komponen engine akan terganggu. Akibatnya komponen yang tidak terlumasi secara maksimal, akan mengalami keausan atau kerusakan lebih cepat dibandinkan umur pemakaian normalnya. Pada penulisan laporan ini, dilakukan metode penelitian dengan inspeksi visual dan pengukuran terhadap komponen oil pump pada engine 3304 visual dilakuakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya kerusakan komponen dan pengukuran dilakukan untuk menentukan penggantian atau penggunaan kembali komponen tersebut. Hasil inspeksi visual beberapa komponen oil pump mengalami kerusakan abrasive wear dan adhesive wear, corrosion,. Hasil measuring pada oil pump ditemukan adanya komponen yang out spec. Untuk mengatasi kerusakan, ganti segera komponen yang telah melewati spesifikasi dan mengalami keausan.

The oil pump functions to circulate lubricant to parts of the engine that require lubrication. If the oil pump is damaged, the supply of lubricant to the engine components will be disrupted. As a result, components that are not lubricated to the maximum will experience wear and tear or damage faster than their normal service life. In writing this report, a research method was carried out with visual inspection and measurements of the oil pump components on the 3304 visual engine to identify the cause of component damage and measurements were made to determine the replacement or reuse of these components. The results of visual inspection of several components of the oil pump are damaged by abrasive wear and adhesive wear, corrosion,. The results of measuring on the oil pump found that there were components that were out of spec. To overcome the damage, immediately replace the components that have passed specifications and are experiencing wear and tear.
