PERAN KEDISIPLINA MASINIS JAGA TERHADAP KELANCARAN OPERASI KAPAL SPOB DIO 21 --

ABSTRACT
Talking about the world of shipping must be much to review ranging from the
role of discipline of the ship's guard driver, the smooth operation of the ship.
Including one of the concerns is how to improve the discipline of the driver guard
when sailing. Why be a concern, because if there is a driver's care then the
smooth operation is not as determined by the company. The purpose of the study
was to understand the essentials of how to perform guard duties to support ship
operations. The study was conducted on the SPOB DIO 21 ship for two months
from Feb. 20, 2021 to April 20, 2021.
The research method used by the author is qualitatively obtained in the form
of information derived from the SHIP SPOB DIO 21. The results of the study
showed that the cause of the decreased rolr of the discipline of the driver guarded
the smooth operation of the ship. Because of the low discipline of the driver guard
in the machine room caused by lack of discipline awareness during the guard
service, lack of health, and unbalanced responsibility. Therefore, supervision
must be carried out periodically to avoid fatal damage that can interfere with
smooth operations on board SPOB DIO 21.
