ABSTRACT
Guest House is an inn that is almost similar to a hotel, but the facilities provided are incomplete like a hotel. Guest House itself has an important role in the tourism sector, because it provides a place to stay for tourists who come to visit Samarinda at low cost. Lack of interior appearance at the Guest House and incomplete facilities make Guest Houses in Samarinda rarely visited by tourists to stay overnight. Based on this, the Guest House with a different interior appearance and also a different exterior is expected to have the potential to increase a promising resource for the government and the community around the tourist attraction. This guest house uses a minimalist building style. With the Guest House in Samarinda, it is hoped that it will become an attractive lodging facility worthy of a visit with adequate facilities.
