ABSTRACT

Abstract - A residential apartment (consisting of a sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc.) which is on one floor of a large and luxurious multi-storey building, equipped with various facilities (swimming pool, fitness center, shop, etc.) , Neo - vernacular is a traditional architectural style combined with modern styles. Kota Samarinda is the capital of East Kalimantan, which is very lacking in tourist attractions that provide tours of the culture of East Kalimantan. The Resort concept apartment with the emphasis on the Neo Vernacular Architectural Style of East Kalimantan is the focus of this research. This study aims to introduce culture from East Kalimantan to tourists from outside Samarinda, so that more culture can be easily recognized, especially by the capital city of East Kalimantan itself. The formulations of the research problems are (1) How to plan an apartment with a resort concept with an emphasis on the Neo Vernacular Architecture of East Kalimantan in Samarinda, and (2) How to plan building utilities that can provide convenience for apartment users. The apartment design method with a resort concept starts with an analysis of apartment users, analysis of the site where the apartment will be built to work on the required work drawings. The apartment design concept adapts to the neo vernacular architectural style of East Kalimantan with an analysis emphasis on building utility.
