ABSTRACT

Samarinda is a city with a fairly dense population and also a high level of growth of Samarinda population and the available land is very limited. With this condition, the need for housing that can be one of the alternative problem solvers of housing needs and settlements in urban areas whose population continues to increase, the construction of houses made multi-storey or better known as flats. Planning Simple Flats Owned in Samarinda is a residence that is able to support the activities of residents and also equipped with public facilities that need to be adapted to the behavior of the residents. Simple flat planning pays attention to the preparation of space that is the organization of space to provide comfort for its users, as well as the purpose of this space organization so that the circulation of space is better so as to provide comfort for residents and visitors. This single building with three floors carries the concept of topis architecture, this is related to the condition of the ecisting of planning sites located in the tropics. One of the advantages in planning these flats is that they are equipped with public facilities with tropical architectural concepts.
