PERENCANAAN APARTEMEN DI SAMARINDA PENEKANAN PADA UTILITAS BANGUNAN --

ABSTRACT
The increasing number of human population will also increase the number of housing needs in the city of Samarinda, one solution is to build comfortable housing such as apartments. The apartment is a multi-storey building consisting of several residential units, with supporting facilities such as a gym and swimming pool. Apartments are residential buildings that are separated horizontally and vertically so that independent housing is available and includes low-rise buildings or high-rise buildings, equipped with various facilities in accordance with specified standards. The apartment was built with an emphasis on utilities such as clean and dirty water, rainwater harvesting, and solid waste. With a good utility planner, the building will function properly. One of the advantages of utilities in this apartment building is using solar panels to heat water or often called Solar Water Heater and harvesting rainwater which aims to save water needs in apartments. This apartment also uses a modern tropical architectural style which has quite a lot of openings for circulation of fresh air in and out so that this building can also save electrical energy in ventilation.
