ABSTRACT
The number of Polnes students who continue to grow from year to year is the main reason for the development and improvement of the learning system and facilities to support student needs. Polnes student dormitories are temporary housing facilities provided to support the needs of students who are studying at Polnes. That way, to support the lives and needs of Polnes students, a dormitory is needed that meets the elements of comfort, health, and safety in the building. Therefore, the Polnes student dormitory was designed by applying the concept of Green Architecture. The application of the concept of green architecture is an effort to overcome environmental damage and pollution that is rife in the present. The methods applied to the planning of the Polnes student dormitory are energy conservation by utilizing sunlight as natural lighting in buildings, water conservation by utilizing rainwater for watering plants and alternative sources of water supply in fire systems and the use of environmentally friendly materials that are harmless to dorm residents. . The utility system in the building participates in supporting the concept of green architecture by using materials that support water conservation in order to contribute to the application of the concept of green architecture in buildings.
