RE – DESIGN SPEAKER DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN LIMBAH KAYU PINUS DAN KAYU ULIN --

ABSTRACT
As one of the largest ironwood-producing islands in Indonesia, precisely in East
Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. Ironwood has been used by humans for hundreds
of years to make houses. With the development of the ironwood era, ironwood is used for
making frames, furniture and one of the problems is ironwood waste which is not reused
into products that are more valuable and have selling power. In addition to ironwood,
there is also pine wood, which is widely found in warehousing and transportation ports.
This type of pine wood is imported from America and is used as a shelf for transporting
imported goods and raw materials for making furniture such as kitchen sets, tables. In
the utilization of pine wood waste, there are still many places of business that have not
reused waste and few have utilized it, and only disposed of it and used it as firewood.
This happens because of the lack of community creativity, in the utilization of pine wood
and ironwood waste which is widely found in Samarinda. especially East Kalimantan.
These two waste materials can be reused into attractive, unique products, and have a
high selling price, namely by utilizing waste pine wood and ironwood into Bluetooth
active speaker products.
