ABSTRACT
The decision system is designed to support all stages of decision making, from determining the problem, selecting relevant data, and determining the approach used in the decision-making process, to selecting alternatives. The Department of Food Security, Fisheries and Agriculture of Bontang City is a government agency that has the main task in the marine and fisheries sector. The purpose of this study is to make it easier to select prospective fishermen who will receive facilities that are in accordance with predetermined criteria, a decision support system is needed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for order Preference by Similarty to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. ). The AHP method is used for the weighting of the criteria, while the alternative weighting and ranking is done using TOPSIS. The chosen alternative, with 4 criteria used, namely the type of fisherman, income, number of dependents and assistance ever received, the results obtained are fishermen who have the highest and lowest values, and the results of calculations from the TOPSIS method get an alternative with the highest level of preference on behalf of Jalil worth 0.900.
