    ABSTRACT


    During this time, the performance appraisal of PT. Kayan Putra Utama Coal is determined manually, especially in assessing employee performance there is no clear assessment criteria. For this reason, a decision support system is needed to help find the best alternative for employee appraisal. In this study, a decision support system for employee performance appraisal will be developed for discipline, years of service, days of entry, and days of overtime. This study aims to design a decision support system for employee performance appraisal using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The assessment and alternative factors, in this case employees are compared with the criteria that have been weighted through the AHP calculation process starting from the weighting of the criteria by calculating with Ms. Excel and calculating with the Expert Choice software. The results have been obtained by weighting the ratings so as to provide an output value that produces a system that assesses employees. This decision support system helps assess the performance of each employee of PT. Kayan Putra Utama Coal in determining the employee who has the highest ranking performance value. Based on the results of the research, the best ranking value shows that the largest value is Supriadi, while the lowest value is Edi Purwanto.
