    Abstract
    The consumption of electrical energy in Indonesia is increasing over time. This is due to the increasing number of residents every year, besides that it is also accompanied by an increase in the number of houses, buildings, educational facilities, companies and industries that all require electrical energy every day. To overcome this problem, a tool or system is needed to help save electrical energy. What can be done is to design a lamp control system based on the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller. By designing a lamp control system with an LDR sensor, you can save excessive electricity consumption. the design of the lamp praga device by using an automatic sensor controller or ldr sensor. If the ldr sensor gets less than 200k/sec light. Then the light will turn on automatically. If the ldr sensor gets more than 200k/sec light. Then the light will turn off automatically.
