    ABSTRACT
    Along with the increasing popularity of coffee drinks in Samarinda, there are also increasing business opportunities in the coffee business itself where there are now more and more outlets selling coffee-type drinks, this can be seen from the significant increase in the number of coffee shops in the last three years and the increase in domestic consumption. For entrepreneurs who want to open a coffee shop, that's exciting and encouraging news. And the landscape encompasses a wide variety of coffee experiences. Coffee shops come in many varieties, from cafés to convenient and drive-thru coffee shops. each type of coffee shop that exists today has its own consumer segmentation. Therefore, knowledge is needed to know the type of coffee shop. So entrepreneurs can determine their market segmentation based on the type of coffee shop they have. And people can choose the appropriate coffee shop based on their taste and purpose. The results of the implementation of K-Means in grouping types of coffee shops in Samarinda showed that from the 100 data that the authors collected there were 54 belonging to Coffee To Go, 33 data belonging to the Coffee Shop type and 13 data belonging to CoffeeCafe.
