PENERAPAN GARBAGE MANAGEMENT PLAN SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PENCEMARAN LAUT PADA MV RIO CHOAPA --

ABSTRACT

Muhammad Alkhawarizmi, 2020 Implementation of the Garbage Management Plan as an effort to prevent marine pollution at MV Rio Choapa with the first mentors Capt Agus Rony Katily, ANT I and Mrs. Puji Astuti Amalia S.Pd, M.Pd as the second mentor. Ships are one of the causes of marine pollution. Disposal of garbage directly into the sea can cause the sea to be polluted and will have a negative impact on marine life. The purpose of this thesis is to provide an overview of the method of handling waste on board to avoid pollution in the sea caused by garbage from ships. The method that I use is a qualitative method using primary data and secondary data. The results showed that there were still ship crews who did not understand the procedures for handling waste onboard. By providing an overview of waste handling methods, Indonesian ship crews will have knowledge of waste handling on ships in accordance with the garbage management plan so as to minimize marine pollution.
