PERANCANGAN SISTEM MONITORING PEMINJAMAN BUKU DI PERPUSTAKAAN (STUDI KASUS : UPT PERPUSTAKAAN POLITEKNIK NEGERI SAMARINDA) --

ABSTRACT
Basically, at the Samarinda State Polytechnic library, the recording of borrowing books has been done computerized. However, several problems have been encountered so far, namely: the high number of delays in books, there is still a lack of information about the amount of fines that must be paid by book borrowers. A solution is needed to reduce the number of book delays in the Samarinda State Polytechnic library. The solution offered to this problem is to use an Email Reminder system that will work automatically providing information about books before the book's due date has been determined, as well as providing information on fines related to book delays that must be paid by the borrower. This research resulted in the design of an email reminder system that can be used as a medium for delivering book information and information on fines for late book repairs.
