    ABSTRACT
    This study aims to determine the comparison of oil temperature after use in automatic transmission props. This study uses independent variables, namely SAE 10W-40 oil and Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). As for the control variable, the test time was carried out for 3 hours at each speed, and the speed used for the transmission was D. The tools and materials used in this study were the 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara automatic transmission props, SAE 10W-oil 40 Mobil Super 2000 brands and Mobil Multipurose brand Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). The research was conducted using experimental methods and direct observation. Data collection is done by analyzing and measuring directly on the automatic transmission props. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in each use of oil that affects the oil temperature of the props. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that the temperature comparison of the props from the use of SAE 10W-40 oil and Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) is 6.6°C, for the highest oil temperature after use is 73°C using SAE 10W-40 oil, and the lowest is 59°C using Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) oil.
