ABSTRACT
Designing and building a network requires careful analysis to meet the
needs of cohesion in an organization or institution, so that in the process a
simulation is needed in advance so that there are no difficulties in managing it.
Computer network connection is fundamental in a network. Because when the
connection becomes an error then all applications running the computer network
cannot be used. Monitoring a computer network will be difficult and complicated,
so a reliable and accurate application is needed to manage it. One of the network
simulation applications that can be used in network design is Cisco packet tracer.
This application can be used for network design, simulation and modeling
tools that describe the model and architecture of computer networks. The method
used is to perform network design and direct simulation of the network to be built.
By using the Cisco packet tracer application, network simulations can be
used as information about the state of computer connections in the network,
ranging from IP addressing to configuration of device requirements
