    Abstract
    Productivity as a leading indicator for the development of a company, the
    Company must create a safe and comfortable environment for every employee by
    carrying out the safety and health of employees. in 2020 the impact of the covid-19
    virus will be an obstacle to employee performance productivity. then it is necessary
    to improve occupational safety and health in the area of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia
    IV (Persero) Samarinda Branch. This research aims to determine the safety and
    health of work to partially and simultaneously affect the productivity of employees
    of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Samarinda Branch.
    This research is a quantitative study with a population of 130 employees
    sampled as many as 56 consumers from employees of the Division of Goods and
    Miscellaneous Services and Ship Services division with data collection using
    questionnaires. Sampling techniques using probability sampling method with
    simple random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques using data validity
    tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests.
    The results of this study are occupational safety variables and occupational
    health variables partially affect the productivity of work performance.
    Occupational safety and occupational health also have a simultaneous influence on
    employee performance productivity. Of these variables, occupational safety
    variables are more dominant than other variables. Occupational safety and
    occupational health have an influence of 28.2% and the remaining 71.8% of other
    influences, one of which is the covid-19 pandemic that hinders all work activities.
