PERAN MARINE INSPECTOR PADA PROSES PENGECEKAN KAPAL TUGBOAT DI WILAYAH SANGKULIRANG --

Abstract
The reason of this paper is to know the activities of the Marine Inspector as a KPLP (Marine Guard Coast Unit). This activity become the Marine Inspector's obligation to check, furthermore, Marine inspector has the right to check ship's crew and their documents. Sangkulirang, East Kutai, Indonesia, on 15 November 2020. The checking of the Tugboat ship is very important because there's a lot of problem with the ship's parties, especially which related to the safety and ship worthiness issues, that were checked. Using the direct checking method, checking is considered as absolute because the result will determine if the ship is fit to go to a place to another, which has the opportunity to minimize unwanted field obstacles. The redult will be reported from the Marine Inspector to the Class III Sangkulirang Port Administration Unit Office as evidence that the ship has been checked.
