Crew of Foreign Ships infected with Covid-19 by the Agency Pt. Penascop Maritim
Indonesia Samarinda Branch with the first supervisor Mrs. Maulita, SE., M.Sc.,
Ak., CA and Mr. Rusman ST., MT., MM as the second supervisor. This study aims
to find out the procedures of sign on, sign off and escorting the crew of foreign
ships infected by coronavirus or Covid-19 which is becoming a global pandemic at
this time conducted by Pt. Penascop Maritim Indonesia Samarinda Branch as the
Agency authorized to manage foreign ship crews by following the rules or policies
and health protocols that apply in the current pandemic to break the chain of spread
of the virus. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of snowball
sample techniques, field observations, interviews and documentation. The results
of this study are showing that the procedures performed by the Agency PT.
Penascop Maritim Indonesia in the management of sign on, sign off and escorting
crew of foreign ships infected by coronavirus is in accordance with applicable
health regulations or policies and protocols.
