LAYANAN JASA AGENT ON BOARD DALAM KEGIATAN PEMUATAN BATUBARA KE KAPAL BULK CARRIER DI ADANG BAY ANCHORAGE PADA PT BAHTERA ADHIGUNA – TANAH GROGOT --

ABSTRACT
Agent on board is a person appointed by the agency company who aims to be the
representative of the company on board the ship. The formulation of the problem
in this study is what services are provided by PT. Bahtera Adhiguna as agent on
board and what are the tasks and obstacles faced during the loading process.
This study aims to find out how what services are provided by PT. Bahtera
Adhiguna as agent on board and what are the tasks and obstacles faced during
the loading process. The data collection technique used is by becoming an agent
on board and directly observing the loading process, conducting interviews with
experienced foreman and surveyors and working together with me as an agent on
board, as well as with documentation obtained during observations.
The results of this study are to find out the services provided by the agent on
board while on board and how to overcome the obstacles encountered during the
coal loading process, this is due to lack of skills and knowledge in foreign
languages, lack of experience and expertise, and delays in sending data due to
connection bad network.
