ABSTRAK
Community empowerment programs are aimed at maximizing the potential of a village to improve the welfare of its people.
This research was conducted to determine the form of action and community empowerment programs. This study uses an approach, data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies.
Community empowerment is carried out to provide changes for the community in tourist villages, especially in increasing knowledge. With trainings such as taking care of Mahakam dolphins, people will know how to take care of these steps and other training such as homestay management, tour guides, and others in order to provide good service to tourists, so that tourists are satisfied with the services provided. by the Pela Tourism Village community.
