    ABSTRACT
A project is implemented with a previously planned cost and duration, but in its
implementation it is often not in accordance with what has been planned or has
been delayed. In this regard, the success of planning a project on time is an
important goal for both the owner and the contractor. This Benuo Taka Port
Access Road Continuation Project is located in North Penajam Paser Regency.
Re-optimization of project planning is carried out using the TCTO (Time Cost
Trade Off) method, this method is carried out for acceleration in order to obtain
optimal costs and duration. Where the step in working on this method is a normal
schedule is made network planning, namely PDM (Precedence Diagram Method)
to then identify which work items are included in the critical path. This critical
path will then be shortened by increasing working hours (overtime) or adding
workers. In analyzing the data, the Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project 2016
applications are used by inputting data so that a comparison between costs and
time is obtained in the form of a bar chart. The implementation time of this project
is 105 calendar days. Based on the results of this study the most optimum time and
cost after the addition of overtime hours is Rp. 5,321,468,601.16 with 0.32% cost
efficiency and 69.5 days crashing duration with 33.85% time efficiency. And for
the addition of manpower obtained the optimum time and total cost of Rp.
5,317,498,588.48 with a cost efficiency of 0.40% and a crashing duration of 69.5
days with a time efficiency of 33.85%. The results of this study can be seen that
the addition of labor is more efficient than the addition of overtime hours.
