    ABSTRACT
    Yustihuda , Helmy, 2021 design and build a corncob briquette press machine and household-scale organic waste with an unpublished script hydraulic system, D4 study program in Production and Maintenance Mechanical Engineering majoring, Mechanical Engineering, Samarinda State Polytechnic, under the guidance of: 1)Ir.alimuddin ,MT 2).Suparno,ST.,MT.The crisis of fuel energy and the availability of fuel oil is currently running low, has shown that it is time for us to switch to other fuels. For this reason, alternative replacements are needed, and one of them is making corncob briquettes and organic waste.The aim of this research is how to overcome these problems by making an automatic briquette press machine, making this corncob briquette press machine to provide convenience in mass and efficient printing, so that it will save time and effort.The test is done by making a briquette press machine which consists of the main parts, namely: motor gearbox, frame, spring, hydraulic, pipe, plate and flange. This corn cob briquette printing machine is used semi-automatically by using an electric motor as the driving force with a power of 0.08 HP. Using an 8mm shaft material ST37, welding on the frame using SMAW welding and the type of electroda used RB-26 with a tensile strength of 42 kg/mm. the productivity of the briquette press machine within 1 hour can produce 221 pcs briquettes.
