ABSTRACT
The development of infrastructures have become increasingly lately, it is the aim of creating economic equity. The infrastructures are built certainly requires a variety of building materials. One of the materials used in the manufacturing process is sand. Sand is a material that can not be separated from the world of the housing or building industry. The sand that will be used for infrastructure development has several requirements that must be added. There are the size of the sand, the sand must be only one variety with a small size and not contain stones nor gravel. The variety of sand has a sand criterion of less than 4.8 mm (SNI 03-1749-1990 standard). The purpose of making this sand sieving machine is to provide ease of construction efficiently. In the hand can saves time and effort. This sand sieving machine works by rotating in the perforated cylinder area so could produce the sand in the form of fine grains without gravel or other impurities so that the sand have good quality for plastering of building. This sand sieving machine is used semi-automatically by using a gasoline motor. Then a reducer to change the direction of rotation.
