    ABSTRACT Farisqi Rosid 18 612 040 Electrical Engineering D3 Study Program STUDY OF LOADING GENERATOR 3 PHASE CAPACITY 37.5 MVA IN UTILITY OPERATION P-5 PT. PUPUK KALTIM One of the steam power plants in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, supplies main power to factory 5. PLTU plant 5 uses 2 generator units, each with a capacity of 37.5 MVA. PLTU generator factory 5 PT. East Kalimantan fertilizer is more than 8 years old. The purpose of this paper is to determine the fluctuation of generator power and generator efficiency. The object of this final project is 1 generator unit at PT. East Kalimantan fertilizer, namely GT-GI1611.The input data needed in writing this final project are generator logsheet data and generator specifications. Data processing is done by calculating the power and efficiency of the generator.Based on the calculation results, the highest load used is 17.52 MW. GT-GI1611 generator performance PT. Pupuk Kaltim can be seen from the generator efficiency, the lowest generator efficiency is 79.54% and the highest generator efficiency is 81.92%, experiencing a decrease in efficiency of ±18% from the generator efficiency value of 98%.
