The purpose of this study was to determine the office layout applied to the General Sub-Section of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office of East Kalimantan Province. The type of research used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature study. The analytical tool used is the 4 principles of spatial planning according to Richard Muther in the book The Liang Gie Modern Office Administration, namely the principle of the shortest distance, the principle of work sequences, the principle of using all rooms, and the principle of changing the composition of the workplace.
Based on the results of this study, shows that the office layout in the Sub Bagian Umum Dinas Penanaman Modal Dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Provinsi Kalimantan Timur is still not fully implementing good spatial planning and needs to be reorganized by the existing spatial planning principles according to Richard Muther.
