    ABSTRACT
    ALLIYA 18622115 "The Influence of Social Media Marketing on Buying Interest in the 3sshop Online Shop in Students of the D3 Business Administration Study Program at the Samarinda State Polytechnic", under the guidance of Mr. Gabriel Gaja Tukan, SH, M.Hum as mentor I and Mrs. Dyah Kusrihandayani, SE, MM as supervisor II.
    This study aims to test and prove the influence of social media marketing on buying interest in the 3sshop online shop in students of the D3 Business Administration Study Program at the Samarinda State Polytechnic.
    These are students of the D3 Business Administration Study Program, totaling 412 students and the sample size was taken using the Hair formula, totaling 90 people from the Samarinda D3 Business Administration Study Program students who used Social Media and had seen and knew about the 3sshop Online shop. Assumption Test The classic used in this study is the Normality Test. The hypothesis test used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the variables of social media marketing and buying interest have a positive and significant effect. The value of the coefficient of determination can be seen from the r square of 51,0% and the results of a simple linear test show the X (Social Media Marketing) coefficient of 0.714. The data is processed using IBM spss 20.
