    ABSTRACT
    This study aims to determine the effect of career development on employee performance at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, East Kalimantan. The technique of collecting data is by distributing questionnaires to employees. The population in this study there are 41 people the number of employees. The sample of this research was 38 respondents using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics version 16 software. The test instruments used in this study were Validity Test and Reliability Test. The classic assumption test used is the Normality Test. Classical assumption test used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that Career Development partially and simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, this is indicated by the coefficient of the variable where Career Development has a positive effect of 0.465 and the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05, based on the results of the Coefficient of Determination Test R of 34.6%, while the remaining 64.5% is influenced by other factors.
