Analisis Pengaruh Pemasangan Fusesaver Terhadap Keandalan Penyulang J4 Gardu Induk
Karang Joang Balikpapan
Sistem distribusi merupakan sistem penyalur tenaga listrik yang langsung berhubungan dengan
pelanggan. Dalam penyaluran energi listrik tidak menutup kemungkinan terjadinya gangguan yang
akan mempengaruhi keandalan suatu sistem distribusi. Untuk menunjang keandalan penyulang J4
maka dipasang alat pengaman fusesaver. Pada penelitian ini data yang digunakan adalah data rekap
gangguan penyulang J4 sebelum dan sesudah pemasangan fusesaver. Data dianalisis dengan
membandingkan nilai SAIFI dan nilai SAIDI sebelum dan sesudah pemasangan fusesaver. Hasil
menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pemasangan fusesaver pelanggan penyulang J4 mengalami pemadaman
sebesar 5.597478329 (kali/tahun) dan lama padam sebesar 10.50693617 (jam/tahun) dan setelah
pemasangan fusesaver pelanggan penyulang J4 mengalami pemadaman sebesar 2.444891945
(kali/tahun) dan lama padam sebesar 3.001103471 (jam/tahun). Dari hasil analisis pengaruh
pemasangan fusesaver terhadap penyulang J4 dapat meningkatkan presentase keandalan nilai SAIDI
sebesar 71,44% pertahun dan nilai SAIFI sebesar 56.32% pertahun. Pemasangan fusesaver dapat
berpengaruh terhadap keandalan pada penyulang J4 Gardu Induk Karang Joang Balikpapan dengan
meningkatkan presentase keandalan nilai SAIDI dan nilai SAIFI.

Analysis of the Effect of Fusesaver Installation on Reliability J4 Feeder at Karang Joang
Balikpapan Substation
The distribution system is a power distribution system that is directly related to customers. In the
distribution of electrical energy, it is possible for disturbances to occur which will affect the reliability
of a distribution system. To support the reliability of the J4 feeder, asafety device is installed
fusesaver. In this study the data used were the recap data of J4 feeder disturbances before and
afterinstallation fusesaver. Data were analyzed by comparing the SAIFI value and the SAIDI value
before and afterinsertion fusesaver. The results showed that before the installation of the fusesaver, the
J4 feeder customer experienced blackouts of 5,597478329 (times / year) and the duration of
extinguishing was 10.50693617 (hours / year) and after the installation of the fusesaver, the J4 feeder
customers experienced blackouts of 2.444891945 (times / year) and the duration of extinguishing was
3.001103471 ( hour / year). From the results of the analysis of the effect ofinstallation fusesaver on J4
feeders, the percentage of reliability of the SAIDI value was 71.44% per year and the SAIFI value was
56.32% per year. The installation of a fusesaver can affect the reliability of the J4 feeder at Karang
Joang Balikpapan Substation by increasing the percentage of the reliability of the SAIDI value and the
SAIFI value.
