OPTIMASI VIGENERE CIPHER MENGGUNAKAN ROTASI KUBUS BERBASIS BIT UNTUK PENGAMANAN CITRA DIGITAL --Ed. 1

ABSTRAK
Di dalam penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk melindungi informasi dalam bentuk citra RGB.
Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan Vigenere Cipher dan rotasi kubus yang
berukuran 4x4x4. Vigenere cipher yang digunakan adalah Vigenere cipher 256
(VC256) yang merupakan pengembangan dari Vigenere asli. Rotasi kubus ini
digunakan untuk meningkatkan optimasi hasil enkripsi dari Vigenere cipher. Kinerja
enkripsi diukur dengan koefisien korelasi dimana hasil yang baik ditunjukan oleh nilai
koefisien korelasi mendekati 0 (nol), dimana rata-rata nilai koefisien korelasi absolut
Vigenere 256 adalah sebesar 0.41 dan rata-rata nilai koefisien korelasi absolut
Vigenere 256 dioptimasi adalah 0.029. Untuk hasil dekripsi menghasilkan gambar
yang sama persis dengan aslinya dengan nilai MAE 0 (nol) dan koefisien korelasinya
sama dengan 1.0.

ABSTRACK
In this study, it aims to protect information in the form of RGB images. The method
used is using the Vigenere Cipher and cube rotation with size 4x4x4. The Vigenere
cipher used is the Vigenere cipher 256 (VC256) which is a development of the original
Vigenere. This cube rotation is used to improve the encryption result optimization of
the Vigenere cipher. Encryption performance is measured by the correlation coefficient
where good results are shown by the correlation coefficient value close to 0 (zero),
where the average value of the absolute correlation correlation coefficient of Vigenere
256 is 0.41 and the average value of the optimized absolute Vigenere 256 is 0.029. The
decryption results in an image that is exactly the same as the original with a MAE value
of 0 (zero) and the correlation coefficient is equal to 1.0.
