Abstrak

Abstrak, Sistem Listrik Perkapalan adalah suatu sistem listrik yang digunakan pada kapal yang terdiri dari sistem listrik untuk instalasi penerangan dan instalasi motor listrik. Instalasi penerangan yang baik dan benar sangat mempengaruhi kegiatan pekerjaan diatas kapal serta menunjang keselamatan orang-orang diatas kapal itu sendiri dan mengurangi resiko terjadi bertabrakan dengan kapal lain pada malam hari. Dalam instalasi motor listrik hal yg perlu diperhatikan adalah penentuan pengaman motor dan luas penampang yang digunakan.Menghitung daya keseluruhan bertujuan untuk menentukan kapasitas generator yang dibutuhkan oleh kapal. Generator pada kapal LCT (Landing Craft Tank) PERMATA 8 hanya dibebani 80 % saja (batas maksimal pembebanan generator). Jumlah generator yang harus disediakan dikapal diisyaratkan oleh BKI (Badan Perkapalan Indonesia) sekurang – kurangnya ada dua unit yang terpisah dari penggerak utama. Tujuan pengoperasian generator maksimal 80% agar generator dapat tahan lama.

Abstrack

Abstract, Electricity System Shipping is an electrical system used on ships consisting of electrical systems for lighting installations and installation of electric motors.A good and correct lighting installation greatly affects the work activities on board and supports the safety of the people on the ship itself and reduce the risk of colliding with other ships at night. In the installation of an electric motor the things that need to be considered are the determination of the safety of the motor and the cross-sectional area used.Calculating the overall power aims to determine the generator capacity needed by the ship. The generator on the LCT (Landing Craft Tank) PERMATA 8 vessel is only 80% charged (the maximum limit for loading the generator).The number of generators that must be provided on board is indicated by BKI (Indonesian Shipping Agency) at least there are two units separate from the main movers. The aim of operating the generator is a maximum of 80% so that the generator can last longer.
