FAKTOR TERJADINYA DEAD FREIGHT DI KAPAL MV. JK PIONEER PADA PT. PELAYARAN EKA IVANAJASA CABANG SAMARINDA --

ABSTRACT Wahyu, 2018. Faktor Penyebab Terjadinya Dead Freight di Kapal MV. JK Pioneer pada PT. Pelayaran Eka Ivanajasa cabang Samarinda dengan pembimbing pertama Bapak Rahmat , ST., MT dan Bapak Mika Patayang, ST., MT. sebagai pembimbing kedua. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor terjadinya dead freight di kapal MV. JK Pioneer pada PT. Eka Ivanajasa Cabang Samarinda. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan dengan adalah cara peninjauan langsung terhadap proses berlangsungnya proses pemuatan batubara pada kapal MV. JK Pioneer. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor terjadinya dead freight adalah penyuplai batubara yang kurang, stock batubara yang telah sedikit dan dilakukan nya pencurian pada batubara . Saran penulis kepada pihak Shipper adalah selalu melakukan pengawasan pada saat proses pemuatan dari jetty ke tongkang maupun dari tongkang ke kapal besar.
